GENTES is an on-line journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, published under the auspices of the University for Foreigners of Perugia, and listed in the database of scientific journals of the Ministry of Education and Research in Italy (miur.cineca.it).
The journal is a forum for interdisciplinary discussion, providing the publication of cross-cutting researches related to Human and Social Sciences.
Colleagues are encouraged to send their abstracts (in Italian or English)*, with the aim of sharing perspectives and methodologies related to several disciplines, such as Literature, Linguistics, Sociology, Politology, Economics, Law, History, Art History, Semiotics, and Technological Sciences.
GENTES is organized in three thematic sub-sections:
- “Visioni interdisciplinari” (Interdisciplinary views) hosts contributions related to interdisciplinary methods, or presenting research outcomes featuring a multi-perspective approach.
- “Laboratori della comunicazione linguistica” (Linguistic communication lab) is dedicated to languages, and to the role of language as a tool for communication. On-going researches and projects on language teaching and acquisition, also from a didactic perspective, are welcome.
- “Strategie e pratiche delle culture contemporanee” (Strategies and practices of contemporary cultures) addresses disciplinary fields focusing on contemporaneity as a privileged framework of analysis, trying to define new theories and methodologies for scientific research.
